Sallie J. Henderson, born November 8, 1950, died peacefully at 73 years old in comfort and with several Family members by her side, at her home. She had suffered for several years with various medical issues.
Sallie enjoyed life with her Lord, Family, Friends and her many Dogs. Sallie’s career was in public safety and law enforcement. She started at the Irving Police Department and in 1988 moved on to her honorable career with the Dallas Police Department and served Dallas at the NW Station. Sallie loved being in the patrol car and training new recruits. She enjoyed her service and education with Kids & Cops. Sallie retired in 2010, as a Senior Corporal, after 22 years of service.
Sallie was preceded in death by her Mother Laurette and Father Arthur Carlson. She is survived by her Brother Doug Carlson and his wife Rose, Niece/Goddaughter Heather Cruz, Nieces Carrie Carlson & Katie Hudson, 3 Great Nephews and 5 Great Nieces.
