She sang with the women’s choir Sweet Adelines, and after moving to Dallas sang with multiple groups including CC Young’s “The Youngin’s”, Northridge Presbyterian’s “Joyful Noise”, and Wilshire Baptists “New Song”
After Bobbie’s retirement in 1994 she returned to home life where she devoted herself to the care of her husband. They enjoyed fourteen more years of life together, taking many trips, enjoying many friendships, and pursuing their shared passion for classical music. Bobbie was at Bill’s side every day until his passing in 2002.
Bobbie remained in Kansas City until 2007 when she moved to Dallas, TX to be closer to her children and grandchildren.
Bobbie moved to CC Young Assisted Living Center in 2011. In her last years her faith grew ever stronger, and she devoted much of her time and energy to Bible study, prayer, worship, and sharing her faith with others.
