Quyen was born in Bui Chu, Ha Nam Ninh, Vietnam on February 20, 1937. He graduated from Chu Van An and continued to receive a Masters Degree from Van Khoa Saigon University. Quyen was married to Hien T Nguyen on July 1, 1963; they were married 61 years.
Quyen worked as a teacher for Nguyen Truong To & Nguyen Ba Tong Technology School for many years. He enjoyed gardening, tennis, soccer and many other sports. He was also actively involved in church activities.
Quyen is preceded in death by his mother, Phan T Vu.
Guyen is survived by his spouse Hien Nguyen, children Truong Vu, Trinh Vu & Tricia Vu, grandchildren An Vu, Khoa Vu, Khoi Vu, Khanh Vu and Vivian Nguyen. Along with brothers and sisters Nhuan Vu, Lan Vu & Luyen Vu (and spouses). He is also survived by many nieces, nephew and other family and friends.
