Nathan was born in Cedar Falls, Iowa on May 6, 1979 to Roxanne Hankins and Vaughn Daman. From an early age, Nathan had a larger-than-life personality and loved to live on the edge. From skydiving to motorcycle riding, Nathan loved to be active. Nathan felt the most alive on his motorcycle surrounded by his fellow riders. He also loved the outdoors, hiking, fishing, and camping with his family. He was spontaneous and loved a good joke.
Nathan also loved learning whether it was visiting Mayan ruins in Mexico with his wife or watching history documentaries. Nathan had a passion for discovery. He also had such a big heart and was exceptionally caring towards others. He would often lend a hand and drop whatever he was doing to help others. Nathan truly cared for others and wanted to make sure that everyone around him was happy and laughing.
Nathan is survived by his wife Jennifer, two children Khloe Lynn and Noah Vaughn, stepson Riley Arthur, father Vaughn Daman, stepmother Sandy Daman, mother Roxanne Hankins, siblings Josh, Jerrimy, Kari, step-siblings Lori, Kristi, Mike, as well a large extended family nieces, nephews, and in-laws.
