Marie Elaine Fronduto Marstella, age 55, passed away on September 20, 2018, after a courageous battle with cancer. Born June 5, 1963 and raised in Revere, Massachusetts, Marie graduated from Revere High School and Emmanuel College.
Marie was a wonderful wife, a fabulous mother, loving sister, caring daughter and a fun aunt, niece and grandmother. She was a world-wide adventurer, and loved to travel with family and friends. Whether it was by airplane, car, or cruise ship, a trip to Boston, to Salt Lake City, to Europe or to Mexico, Marie made sure it was a blast for everyone. She recently returned from a cruise to Bermuda with her mother, sister, and Aunt Audrey. Weekend trips were her favorite, especially with her daughter Nicole, to a bed and breakfast in Granbury, Texas.
Marie’s professional career included 22 years at Texas Instruments. All who knew and worked with her loved her sense of humor, positive attitude, and willingness to go the extra mile. Her coworkers nicknamed her, “The Queen”, which she embraced with sincere adoration.
On a personal level, Marie was quick-witted, never letting a situation get too serious. She was a meticulous planner, ensuring nothing was missed. She made life exciting and enjoyable for all around her. Her relationship with her daughter Nicole was beyond comparison, as the two enjoyed weekly mother-daughter nights. Her love for her 6 stepchildren was equally gratifying, and she developed a strong relationship with each of them. She treasured being a grandmother and was looking forward to the pending birth of grandchild number five.
While Marie’s passing created a hole in our hearts, we are comforted in knowing that the pains of her illness have ended. She would want us to carry on her traditions – enjoying life’s experiences, building strong relationships with family and friends, and taking time and effort to make a positive impression where ever you are in the world.
Marie was preceded in death by her father, Pasquale Fronduto. Marie is survived by her mother, Barbara Fronduto; daughter, Nicole Banks; husband, Matthew H Marstella; brother, Michael Fronduto; sister, Jeannine Fasulo; step children, Aly Marstella Brown (Danny), Haley Marstella Erickson (Matthew), Chase Marstella (Camryn), Mason Marstella, Taryn Marstella and Dillon Marstella; and family friends, Eugene Kaufman and Marie LeClair. Marie leaves behind many other loved ones.
Please join us as we honor her life, in Dallas and in Boston (Boston details pending).
