Jose Manuel Ramon

He was born on Wednesday, November 28, 1928 in Taft, Texas to the late Antonio Jose Ramón and Marie Sarah Palomares Ramón.

Jose was preceded in death by his loving wife Rosario "Chayo" Ramón. He is survived by his children Ruben Ramón and his wife Josephine; Nina Ramón; Ray A. Ramón and his wife Susan; John Ramón; David Ramón; Martin E. Ramón and his wife Cathy; Lisa Enriquez and her husband Mike; 13 grandchildren and six great-grandchildren. Jose served in the U.S. Army and later in life had the honor of giving his grandson, 2LT Martin Eric Ramón II, his first salute as an officer in the U.S. Army. After his military service, Jose began a career as a truck driver, which lasted over 40 years. During retirement, Jose enjoyed spending time with his family and pursued his passion for traveling.

A funeral mass will be held at 11 A.M. on Saturday, October 7, 2017 at St. Pius X Catholic Church 3030 Gus Thomasson Dallas, Texas 75228.
