John "Don" Patane

JOHN (Don) PATANE, 82, of Fort Wayne, passed away Saturday, Jan. 12, 2019 at an assisted living facility in Westfield, IN. Born June 23, 1936 in Swedesboro, NJ to Joseph and Jenny (Racite) Patane and the last of 5 children. Don spent nearly 50 years in Ft. Wayne, serving mainly in Human Resources but in his latter working years drove buses for FWCS and SWACS. Don loved spending time with his family and friends, and especially enjoyed his time playing Bridge. He is survived by his daughter Lisa, and sons Joe and J. Dan (Cathy) and 5 grandchildren (Joe, Michael, Hailey, Nathan, Brayden). A celebration of life will take place on Sunday, February 17th from Noon-3pm, at North Eastern Group Realty, at 10808 La Cabreah Ln, in Ft. Wayne.
