Vincent Lentini

Vincent Lentini, born on May 31, 1938, in Jersey City, New Jersey, lived a life filled with faith and love before passing away at the age of 86 on November 29, 2024. After raising a family in Toms River, New Jersey, the Lentini family moved to Cape Coral, Florida in 1987.

Family was at the heart of Vince’s world. He was not only a loving and devoted husband to Jean (D’Anna) Lentini, with whom he shared 60 wonderful years of marriage, but also an exceptional father to his daughters, Jami Sterious (John) and Jana Hambruch (Steven). He brought the same love, warmth, and joy as a grandfather to Anthony Finamore (Brittany), Alexandra Sammon (Robert), and Nicholas Hambruch, as well as a great-grandfather to Lillian and Vincent Sammon.

Vincent’s love and care extended beyond his immediate family to his nieces and nephews, Michele Francis (Gene), Dawn King (Greg), and Drew Sessa (Brienne) as well as many other family and friends.

Vince was predeceased by his loving parents, Frank and Theresa Lentini, and siblings, Antoinette Raso, Theresa Contey, Frank Lentini, and Barbara Lentini.

A talented athlete, Vince was recruited after high school to play professional baseball with the Chicago White Sox, San Francisco Giants, and San Diego Padres, and in later years was an exceptional salesman at Matter Brothers Furniture in Fort Myers, Florida. Vincent enjoyed playing amateur football and softball games and eventually developed a deep love for the game of golf. He was also a lifelong New York Giants football fan.

He leaves behind a profound legacy of love, devotion, and faith.

We invite all who knew and loved Vince to join us in honoring and celebrating the life of a man who lived fully, loved deeply, and sincerely touched our hearts. A Celebration of Life will be held on Sunday, December 8th, 2024, starting at 11:00 am, followed by a Memorial Service at 1:00pm, at Coral Ridge Funeral Home, 1630 SW Pine Island Road, Cape Coral, Florida 33991.
