North Fort Myers - Richard “Dick” Clough, age 83, died Saturday, September 2, 2017, after a short illness. He was born in Quincy, MA, spending most of his childhood in the nearby town of Natick. Dick graduated from Colby College in Waterville, ME which was followed by two years serving in the army, and spent much time in Massachusetts raising his family before moving to Florida.
Dick leaves behind his companion, Lois Gallo, sister Gay (Clough) Tetro, daughters Kathie (Clough) Clark and Lorrie (Clough) Marcoulier, her husband Thomas, son-in-law Don Myers, step-children Lori Loy, Elizabeth Quattrone and Christopher Gallo, as well as grandchildren Christopher, Patrick and Kira Clark; Zachary, Sarah and Cameron Marcoulier; Caden Loy; and many nieces and nephews. He is pre-deceased by his sister, Suzanne Kerns and beloved daughter, Debora Clough.
Dick spent most of his career in management with the Campbell Soup Company in New England. He retired 18 years ago and moved to North Fort Myers, FL. He never really retired, as he was an active member of his community in Florida as president of the men’s golf association at Heron’s Glen, chairman of numerous golf tournaments, member of the men’s choir, town bowling league and a volunteer for the emergency defibrillator program.
A celebration of life service will be held Monday, October 16, 2017, at 11:00 AM at the Herons Nest Restaurant...All are welcome. Herons Nest Restaurant, 2250 Avenida Del Vera, North Fort Myers, Fl.
