M. M. Jean Weber, 91, of Ft. Myers, passed away after a brief illness on August 27, 2023. Originally from Detroit, Jean lived a long and active life as a treasured member of her extended family, enjoying her weekly card-club games, bingo and community dinners, and soccer matches on weekends with her great grandkids.
She was a talented athlete, excelling in fastpitch softball, bowling and golf. She loved to sing and had a beautiful voice as a classically trained soprano. Jean was also an avid reader, and enjoyed making the most difficult puzzles she could get her hands on.
Her husband of 56 years, John Fritz Weber, preceded her in death. She is survived by her three children, Bruce Weber of S. Lyon, MI, and wife Gale, daughter Vicki Scott of Cape Coral, FL and partner Christopher Ruhnke, and daughter Joyce Wojcik of White Lake, MI, and husband John Wojcik, six grandchildren and eight great grandchildren. She was dearly loved and will be missed by all.
