Mr. Ed Swords will always be in my fondest memories. He always had your back when things got tough and he was a true friend. He will be missed by many.

Eddie was one of the coolest guys I ever knew.  Those guys in the Captains Office took me under their wings and created a monster.  lol  Love every minute of being the Captain's Secretary in Miami, FL.  Love you Roberta and know that Eddie will be always shining down on you and your family.  God Bless!!

I will truly miss Eddie and his great sense of humor and being a great guy that will be deeply missed .I will cherish his memory and keep his family in my prayers at night,he is in a better place now where nothing can hurt him anymore.

My deepest thoughts and prayers go out to the family.  Eddie spoken highly of them, he showed genuine love toward his wife and grandson.  This can be observed in the charity donation requested to help others.  He was always a person who gave of himself and ask for nothing in return.  He will be deeply missed and I pray for the the to comfort you and you allow the Lord fill any void you may have!

Ed and I became friends the day he started working with us at the court house. He was the kind of man you could count on no matter what and he served as an inspiration to us all as he courageously fought that horrible disease. His time on earth was truly all too brief, lift up your hearts and share with me God wanted him now he set him free.

I worked in the justice center and had the pleasure of seeing Ed smiling as he said have a good day. It was a shock to learn of his passing. I pray for the grieving family as they learn to live life without him. May God grant you the strength necessary to begin each day. He will truly be missed.

I remember a gentle soul and a kind man because he stands out from the rest of the people around and the noises of world. Mr. Swords was that kind of a man and he will be missed.  RIP

As one of the newest members of the 20th Judicial Security Team, Ed, introduced himself to me and offered his assistance in getting me prepared for the position that he has held for the many years. he made me feel like family, not just a co-worker. His strength was a symbol of his bravery and strength and I am deeply sadened by his passing. My memories of Ed will be of a gentle giant, who was a friend and inspiration to me and all of my co-workers. The good lord has an Angel looking down on us all
