Emily Madeline Jones, 82 was resident of Cape Coral, Fl since 2005 formerly of Iselin, NJ. Emily was born prematurely on November 27, 1941 in Newark NJ to Edith and Joseph Tino, now deceased, weighing only 4lbs 4oz, which made her a fighter from birth, has sadly lost her battle to Parkinson’s in which she fought long and hard for several years.
Emily was loved, cherished and will be missed by so many. She was an extremely active and outgoing person who took pride in being a Domestic engineer which allowed her to be active in her family’s lives, from being a supportive wife, Den mother, softball coach, ceramics, cooking, in which she hosted the best BBQ’s and known for her world famous “LASAGNA” and her 2 most desired hobbies being Country line dancing and Bowling, in which she was a member of CJWBA for 30+yrs and became a director in 1985. She was an officer in every league she bowled in, member of the NJ 600 club, organized CJ Senior Tournaments and was inducted into the Central Jersey Women’s Bowling Hall of Fame on March 3, 2002.
Emily is survived by her loving and devoted husband of 60+yrs Milton A Jones (in which she made clear that she had to fight off others for), Son Kevin A Jones, Daughter Pamela M Jones, Brother Charles Kale, Son in law Robert Lock, Several Nieces, Nephews and adopted daughters 1,2,3,4,5 etc..
Celebration of Life for Emily will be held Saturday, January 20, 2024 from 1-3 pm at Coral Ridge Funeral home & Cemetery, 950 Chiquita Blvd. S , Cape Coral, FL 33991
