Debbie Lee Dill, 63, of Cape Coral, Florida sadly passed away on November 17, 2023. She was born to William and Nancy Austen in Bethesda, Maryland on December 30, 1959. She graduated from Tottenville High School in 1977 and went on to work in New York City for many years. When her parents and sister moved to Cape Coral, she soon followed and has made Florida home ever since.
After staying home to raise her sons, Debbie went back to school to further her education. She then became a medical transcriptionist who had tremendous work ethic and years of expertise. She modeled for her boys how to be a strong worker and to never give up when faced with a challenge. In 2003, she met her loving husband, John, and started on new adventures in her life. She loved going to Disney with her family, spending time shopping, and finding fun things to do. She was a dedicated wife, mother, sister, grandmother, and friend, spending lots of time making memories with her family. She was a light to everyone she came across and will be greatly missed by all. Even after becoming sick, she made sure to always put a smile on the face of everyone she came in contact with.
Debbie was preceded in death by her parents William and Nancy Austen, her sons Neil Sullivan and Kevin Sullivan, and her grandparents Grace and Joseph Austen. She is survived by her husband John Dill, son Billy Sullivan, sister Trish (Joe) Routte, granddaughters Kaydence Sullivan and Nevaeh Brock, stepson Brian Dill, and grandson Jackson Dill.
The viewing for Debbie Dill will take place on Tuesday, November 28th at 11:00, with a service to follow at noon. Family, friends, and anyone who has been touched by her warmth and humor are invited to pay their respects and celebrate the life of an amazing woman.
