Toni Lynn Tipps

A funeral service for Toni Lynn Tipps, 74, of Canton, Texas will be held at 2:00 p.m. on Tuesday, June 6, 2023 following a visitation from 1:00 p.m. to 2:00 p.m. at Eubank Funeral Home, Bro. Mike Burns officiating.

Toni passed away in Canton, Texas on June 2, 2023. She was born on May 8, 1949 in Dallas, Texas to Jack Baker Laughlin and Dorothy Lee Hyten Laughlin.

Toni grew up in the Dallas area and graduated from Bryan Adams High School in 1967. She married her true love, Dempsey Tipps, on July 7, 1979. The couple had 43 wonderful years together. Toni and Dempsey owned and operated Cherokee Express Trucking Company in Canton, Texas. Toni was happiest when with her horses. She was an avid barrel racer, cutting horse trainer and loved trail rides. Toni was blessed with a wonderful family. Family dinners and time with family made the best days. Toni will be missed by all that knew and loved her, but will live on in memories of her loving family and friends.

Toni is preceded in death by her parents, Jack and Dorothy Laughlin; daughter, Samantha Chaney; great grandson, Jonas Jenkins; brother, Ronnie Laughlin.

She is survived by her beloved husband, Dempsey Tipps; children: Jeremy and Brandy Tipps, Christopher and Carrie Celsur; grandchildren: Hanna and Colton Wilson, Hailey and Logan Jenkins, Garrett Celsur, Jada Celsur, Judah Wilson, Asher Wilson, Madison Tipps, Ethan Tipps, Luke Chaney, Jordan and Emily Edwards; great-grandchildren, Lynlee Edwards, Olivia Edwards and Wyatt Edwards; her stepchildren, grandchildren and great-grandchildren; a host of other family and many friends.

Interment will be at DFW National Cemetery.
