Suzette Seymore, 77, of Canton passed away December 6, 2024 in Grand Saline. She was born April 7, 1947 in Dallas to Dennis Lee and Sylvia Pauline Fincher Seymore.
Suzette graduated from Canton High School in 1965 as Valedictorian. She then went to North Texas Women's University in Denton where she earned a Bachelor's Degree in Music and Arts. In 1968 she moved to Denver, Colorado where she resided for the next forty years before moving back to Canton.
Suzette was an avid reader. She loved to learn and took many college classes over the years. Her love for animals led her to become a veterinary tech. She taught herself to play several instruments and at one time gave music lessons. Suzette also enjoyed making pottery.
Suzette is survived by her sister, Sandra and Mike Howard; brother, Greg and Julie Seymore; niece, Christi McCaffity; nephew, Jeff Seymore and family; nephew, Brad Seymore and family; great niece, Madison McCaffity; great nephew Mason McCaffity and Katlyn; and great great niece, Avery McCaffity. She is preceded in death by her parents.
