A celebration of the life of Sarah June Williams, 80, of Van, Texas, will be held at 11:00 am on Wednesday, December 18, 2024 at Eubank Funeral Home, following a visitation at 10:00 am. Bro. Steve Glosup officiating.
Sarah went to her heavenly home on December 11, 2024 in Tyler, Texas. She was born on July 30, 1944 in Dallas, Texas to John Bonner and Nina June Earl Bonner.
Sarah grew up in the Dallas area. She moved to the Van area later in life. Sarah was a member of the Galena Full Gospel Church and was active for many years. She was a devoted Christian and loved the Lord.
Sarah was a “firecracker of a woman”. She was a hard worker and a wonderful example of a strong woman. Nothing could hold her back. Sarah enjoyed a life on the go. In her leisure time she enjoyed watching the birds in her yard. She collected bird, birdbaths and bird feeders. Sarah loved seeing nature thrive right out her window. Sarah was a devoted mother. Her children and grandchildren were her pride and joy. A day with family would have her beaming ear to ear. Her family finds comfort in knowing she is with the Lord and have a lifetime of memories to share.
Sarah is preceded in death by her parents, John and Nina Bonner; beloved husband, Edgar Williams; sister-in-law, Maxine Bonner.
She is survived by her children: Juan Herrera and wife, Crystal, Rhonda Lane and husband, Doug Rasor, Wesley Leistikow, Leslie Leistikow and husband Cory Cossabone; grandchildren: Richard Lane and wife, Amy, Catherine Ballew, Cody Leistikow and Wife, Dakota, Emily Leistikow, Marissa Jones, Annah Herrera, Abigail Flournoy and husband Colton, Ashton Herrera; great grandchildren, Nevaeh Busby, Aleah Busby, Lily Ballew, Waylon Todd Flournoy; brother, Billy Bonner; nieces, Shelley Bonner, Chris Johnston; brother-in-law, Rafael Herrera; a host of other family and friends.
Sarah will be laid to rest at DFW National Cemetery on Friday, December 20,2024 at 1:30 pm.
