Randy Lane Taylor

Randy was born July 25, 1955, in Dallas, TX, Randy passed from this life September 04, 2023. Randy is preceded in death by his grandparents, Dewey and Nona Taylor; grandparents, Wayne and Mable Chambers; father, Bobby Gene Taylor and sister, Karen Thompson.

Randy is survived by his mother, Joyce Taylor of Fruitvale; wife, Ladonna Taylor of Fruitvale; brother Bobby Taylor and wife Donna of Fruitvale, brother Ronnie Taylor of Fruitvale; daughters Angie Lake and husband Stuart of Gun Barrell, Misty Allen and husband Keith of Ben Wheeler, Amber King and husband Troy of Wills Point; 13 grandchildren and 7 great-grandchildren; along with numerous nieces and nephews.

Randy attended Edgewood schools growing up and continued to live in the Fruitvale and Edgewood area the rest of his life. Randy was married to the love of his life Ladonna Burton, after dating from a very young age and on October 27th, 1973, they tied the knot. They raised 3 beautiful daughters and were married just 53 days shy of 50 years. Randy’s passions were Golf, Fishing and Gardening but his deepest passion was his family. He also loved to venture off to Canton where he would take Ladonna to eat at Jewels on a frequent basis. In his later days in life, his favorite thing to do was attend his grandchildren's sporting events. He would travel all over to watch them. Randy will truly be missed and will always be in our hearts.

Visitation will be September 11, 2023, @ 1pm one hour before the services and lunch will be provided immediately after the service at Willow Springs Baptist Church Fellowship Hall.
