Jerry Don Fisher

Jerry went home to the Lord on June 30, 2023. He was born in Grand Saline, Texas on August 27, 1947, to Leeron and Beatrice (Buyher) Fisher. Jerry grew up hunting, fishing and spending time in the great outdoors. Jerry was an enjoyable person to know. He liked to go out to eat and he took delight in talking to the people around him. Jerry loved to tell jokes and had fun picking on his nieces and nephews. Jerry was a member of the East Center Baptist Church where he greeted friends and strangers alike with smiles and pieces of gum.

Jerry is preceded in death by his beloved wife, Elaine Fisher; and in later years by his second beautiful wife, Sue Fisher; his parents, Leeron and Beatrice Fisher; and brother, Rayford Fisher.

Jerry is survived by his caring family, sisters: Billie Sue McClanahan of Grand Saline, Sarah Clark and husband, Wayne, of Grand Saline; Anna Fite and husband, Bo, of Grand Saline; brothers: Pat Fisher of Grand Saline, Boots Fisher and wife, Becky, of Grand Saline, Tooter Fisher of Grand Saline; 6 step-children; and numerous nieces, nephews and other relatives.

Visitation will be held 1 hour prior to service.
