James Edward Randell

James passed away Sunday, January 1, 2017 at his home in Canton.

He was born February 16, 1932 in Trenton, TN to Jesse James Randell and Delana Mae Cupples.

James grew up in Kemp and moved to Dallas for a short time before settling down in Canton in 1972. He married Beverly Jean Elliott in 1989 and they spent the next 17 years together until her death in 2006. James enjoyed playing his guitar with friends and family in his spare time.

James is survived by his Daughter, Carolyn & James Lawhorn; Son, James & Tina Randell; Daughter, Nancy Gail & Doug Bolin; Daughter, Libby & Doug Brashear; Daughter, Rhonda & Leonard Owens; Daughter, Shelly & Terry Dickerson; Daughter, Kim & Chris Strickland; Son, Kenneth & Sherry Randell; 16 Grandchildren; 28 Great Grandchildren; Sister, Janie Estill; Brother, Bobby & Charlie Randell; Brother, Billy Wayne & Jeanette Randell; Sister, Mildred & Carter Jenkins; and Brother, Danny Randell.

He is preceded in death by his Parents, Jesse & Delana Randell; Wife, Beverly Randell; Granddaughter, April Whitley, Brother, Jerry Randell; Brother, B.F. Randell; and Sister, Jean Curtis.

Interment will be at Old Bethel Cemetery in Canton, TX.

Family will receive friends Wednesday from 6:00 p.m. to 8:00 p.m. at the funeral home.
