He passed away March 22, 2015 in Athens, TX.
Don was born September 30, 1959 in Dallas, TX to Elton and Ruth Coursey.
Interment will be in Holly Springs Cemetery.
Don grew up in Pleasant Grove before moving to Canton where he graduated high school. He was a member of Crossroads Church and worked for Chambers & Phillips Water Well for over 30 years as a service tech. Don enjoyed hunting, fishing, training bird dogs, and being outdoors. His greatest joy was his granddaughter, Henley Rae. Don was a well known and liked man who never met a stranger.
Don is survived by his Wife, Karen Coursey, Son, Matthew Clay Coursey, Son, Travis Hunter & Shelby Coursey, Son, Michael Jeffery Hendricks, Son, Jeremy Ryan Hendricks, Granddaughter, Henley Rae Coursey, Mother, Ruth Louise Coursey, 4 Sisters, Anita & Randall McHenry, LeVeta Swanner, Judy Bradberry, and Glynda & Tom Bonacci, Sister-In-Laws, Kathy & Byron Bointy, and Susan & Keith Fincher, along with several other relatives.
He is preceded in death by his Father, Elton Leon Coursey.
Pallbearers will be Dwayne Clements, Tommy McHenry, Jeffery Snowden, Marcus Turner, Kevin Turner, and Roxanne Roberson.
Honorary Pallbearers are Frank Elliott, Billy Phillips, Richard Butcher, Cecil Sherwood, and Pat McCormick.
Visitation will be Tuesday from 6 to 8 PM at the Eubank Funeral Home in Canton, TX.
