Beautiful service today.   So thankful we got to be there.  Thoughts and prayers will continue for all the family in the days ahead.

I'm  forever grateful for the time David gave to me in some of my darkest days. He was a gracious man always helping who he could, and I'm honored to call him my Uncle. Uncle David the knowledge of the Lord you shared with me, as well as teaching me how to be a husband of God is something I use daily, and will never forget. I love you

Kim, Whitni and little David, 
I am so very deeply sorry for your loss. There are difficulties and impossible roads we are forced to walk without understanding at times and this is certainly the worst of them. We don’t know or understand the why and even if we did it wouldn’t take away the pain and that’s what we most want to do for each of you—is take away the pain and put life back together for you the way it should be. David was one of the kindest and most genuine people I have ever known. When I drove my car into the ditch outside your house he got the neighbor to help pull me out and made jokes so I didn’t feel so bad. His humor, kindness and genuine spirit is what I will remember, not the brief moment when darkness and pain were too much to bear. I saw the way he loved you Kim and doted on Whitni and David and loved them beyond measure. He was always so proud of each of you. In his quietness I would catch him smiling looking at each of you. And you would t even know. Please know that your family and friends are here to uphold you when you can’t stand. Jesus is near to the broken hearted and I pray that you are wrapped in the peace that only He can give. Until we meet again in heaven we will walk this with you. I am so sorry and I love you so much.

David was such a kind and loving man. Our family will never forget the encounters we have had with him over the years. One fun  memory that stands out to me is how he stayed with our son and looked after him while Kim, Stacey, Jamie, and I ran a half marathon together. He kept him enterained, took him to McDonald’s, and later we all celebrated together with some Mexican food. We love all of you and are praying daily.

He was always so genuine and kind to me. My heart is with David, Whitni, and Aunt Kim at this time.

Went to Doyle High School with him.  Same homeroom.  He was such a nice person.  Prayers to family

So sorry for your loss. I grew up with David and attended school at Gap Creek Elementary and Doyle High School with him. Sending love and prayers for comfort to the family.
