Christi Deann Young

Christi grew up in the H.E.B. area and was a graduate of L. D. Bell High School and the University of North Texas. She was Baptist by faith.

Christi was a wild child by nature and a free spirit to say the least. The room would light up when she walked in with her infectious smile. She had an incredible work ethic but always made time for family and friends. Christi was the true definition of a friend, she was loyal, sympathetic, and would not hesitate to help others in need. Family was important and always dear to her. Time with family and friends were the best days. Christi will be missed, always loved, and will live on in the hearts and memories of all that knew her. To know her was to love her.

She is preceded in death by her father David Young, niece Amber Willaby and nephew Dustin Wright.

Those left to cherish her memory are her mother Arlene Young; brothers Sammy Wright and wife, Sherri, Larry Wright and wife Misty, and Danny Young and wife Bonnie, sister Cinda Julian, and life partner Josh Scruggs; 12 nieces and nephews, as well many more relatives; her beloved dog, Roxie; and an endless list of close friends.

The family will have a celebration of her life and memorial at a future date.
