Bobby Jack Bogle, 84, went home to be with the Lord on October 30, 2021 at his home surrounded by family. He was born on February 25, 1937 in Anna, Texas to Finace Everett and Georgia Rutherford Bogle.
Bob grew up in East Dallas and graduated from Crozier Tech High School. On March 9, 1957 he married the love of his life, Sharon Bozeman. The couple was blessed to have shared 64 years together. Bob was a General Contractor in the Dallas area for Ed Kellum & Son for 40 years, he was known and loved by so many in the area in which he worked. Bob and Sharon moved to Canton after retirement and were members of the First Baptist Church in Canton. As a hobby, Bob took pride in restoring cars. He even had a car, named “Bonnie” he restored, as it was featured in the 1967 movie “Bonnie and Clyde”. He also enjoyed golfing, mowing and caring for his home. Bob was a funny man with a good sense of humor and was known for being able to talk to anyone for hours about places he had been and people he had met, everyone loved Bob. If he wasn’t working in the yard or on a car he enjoyed reading hot rod magazines and watching the old westerns on TV. He loved his children and grandchildren and he loved the Lord. Bob will be deeply missed by his friends, family and all who knew him.
He is preceded in death by his parents, Finace and Georgia Bogle; son, Brad Bogle; son in-law Eddie McAdoo, brother and sister-in-law, Bill and June Bogle; sister and brother-in-law, Betty and Willie Echols.
He is survived by his beloved wife, Sharon Bogle; children, Deborah McAdoo, Justin and Emily Bogle; grandchildren, Gatlin and Courtney McAdoo, Cody McAdoo and Jim Gray, Bobbye and Chad Little, Brandon Bogle, Layton and Whitney Bogle, Miranda and Tyler Fipps, Jaxon Bogle and Lizette Bogle; two, on the way, precious great-grandchildren; brother and sister-in-law, Burl and Sherry Bogle along with nieces and nephews.
A family graveside service for Bob will be held at 1:00 p.m. on November 5, 2021 at Grove Hill Cemetery under the directions of Eubank Funeral Home. Bro. Mike Roberson officiating.
