Services for Anna Ruth Burns, 89, of Terrell, TX are scheduled for 10:00 a.m. Wednesday, March 14, 2018, at Eubank Funeral Chapel in Canton, TX with Bro. Todd Peavey officiating.

Interment will be at Haven of Memories Memorial Park in Canton.

Anna passed away March 12, 2018, in Terrell, TX.

She was born September 9, 1928, in Leonard, TX to Bryan Jennings and Clarice Smith Briggs.

Anna grew up in Leonard, TX and graduated from Leonard High School. In April,1974, she married Walt Burns and moved to Mesquite, TX. She enjoyed arts and crafts, mowing her yard, working puzzles and crocheting. She was a Baptist by faith.

Preceding Anna in death are her parents; husbands, James Weldon Darst, Frank Miller and Walt Burns; grandson, Weldon Ford; grandson, Matthew Mahan; six brothers and sisters.

She is survived by her daughter, Judy Ford of Terrell; daughter, Jan Mahan and husband, Gayland of Terrell; son, James Darst and wife, Jewell of Mineola; seven grandchildren, fourteen great grandchildren and three great-great grandchildren.

Visitation will be one hour prior to the service at the funeral home.
