Sam was born on July 25, 1939, the oldest of 7 children. Sam married the love of his life, Earlene (nee Williams) Wilson in February of 1959, with whom he spent over 50 amazing years together and had 4 wonderful sons. He was a hard worker with many jobs, including managing the Bonded Gas Station in Champion, OH, and the city-wide paper route to which he became a very friendly and popular face in the community. Sam enjoyed bowling, playing bingo, watching old westerns and spending time with his grandchildren. He was a light-hearted man who loved to joke and smile. He loved popcorn, bologna sandwiches and his wife's amazing home-cooking. He was a member at Braceville United Methodist Church where he enjoyed fellowship and the spoken word of his Lord and Savior. To know him was to love him and he will forever live on in our hearts and memories.
