Paul Ivan Himes

He graduated from Greentown High School. Paul was a longtime resident of North Canton, who never missed a North Canton football game. He also attended their basketball and softball games. Paul was a veteran of the US Army, and a member of Holy Cross Lutheran Church.

Paul is survived by his wife of 63 years, Kathryn; son, Steven; three daughters, Cheryl (Walter) Dietrich, Debbie Burleigh, Kathy (the late Billy) Benoit; six grandchildren; eight great-grandchildren; and sister, Evelyn Moore. In addition to his parents, he was preceded in death by his brothers, Ray and Jerry.

Funeral services will be held at 11:00am on Monday in the Holy Cross Lutheran Church, 7707 Market Ave. N, North Canton, OH 44721. Interment will be in Sunset Hills Burial Park. Friends may call from 2-4pm on Sunday in the Karlo-Libby Funeral Home, and from 10-11am on Monday at the church. In Paul’s memory, contributions may be made to St. Jude Children’s Research Hospital, 501 St. Jude Place, Memphis, TN 38105.
