I  was so sorry to hear of the passing of Mark.  I was his 5th grade tch. at North Nim. and remember him well.  What a nice boy he was.  He won the ping pong tournament that year and won a prize and if he beat me he got an even better prize.  I won but barely. lol  Again so sorry for your loss.

So sorry to hear about Mark passing away!! It  took some time to realize this really happened! Mark was definately one of the best colleagues and Managers I ever met! All the best to the family he was so proud of! Sorry for your loss!

I remember the first words Mark ever spoke to me when we met at a party the beginning of our seventh grade year, "I like your shoes", and so began our friendship.  I knew and loved the boy but did not know the man.  By reading the comments from his colleagues, friends, and family one can see that he grew to be a kind, fair, caring, successful man just as he was as a boy.  One can also tell that he loved and cared for his wife and daughters deeply.  I am so sorry he left your lives way too soon.  I pray for comfort and peace for all who loved him during this most difficult time. 

My deepest condolences to Mark's family and close ones. I have worked with Mark for about 7 years and he was my counterpart in the US for much of the areas we were focused on. 

We were part of a global organization and most of our success stories were not achieved just via standard work but through personal touch, understanding and support for one another. And through that, we had maintained mutual respect and friendship for each other. Mark taught me a lot and I will always cherish our times together.  He shall always be part of my fond thoughts and best of memories.

Growing up in the same neighborhood, many memories of riding bikes, shooting baskets, shooting pool at Eastbury, playing baseball, getting into some small mischief, but us neighborhood kids all had fun. I have worked for Mark at various times over the last 6 years at DN, he was always professional, a tough negotiator, but fair and very supportive, everything you would want in a boss.  His family was the most important thing in the world to him and he was so proud of his daughters' accomplishments, both in athletics and with their educational pursuits.  He talked about you all the time and it was obvious that you filled him with so much joy!  You have my deepest sympathy and are in my thoughts at this most difficult time, all of us at DN will miss Mark very much!

I got the message this morning but still cannot believe it is real.  I still remember your first trip to China we had lunch together talking about QBR with suppliers.  Mark's favorite restaurant is Big Bamboo and we went there for dinner almost every time he came to China.  Mark always talked about his family and was proud of his daugthers' achievements... My deepest condolences for the loss! 

After working with Mark for 18 years, doing trips around the globe, learning to trust each other, supporting each other as friends, and sharing many memorable moments, it is still easy to pick the one that simply sticks out: 
Mark always put his family first. No matter where we had to go, first opportunity he had, he called home. That was most important to him.
And Mark was so proud about Tori and Taylor. He shared so much about your accomplishments, your Soccer and Lacrosse games, and I recall how exited he was, about the note you left on the whiteboard in his office. I believe he never wiped it off.

Mark and I met at Diebold in 2009. I had the privilege to work more closely with him for the last 3 years. Professionally, I will remember Mark as a strong negotiator, loyal, trustworthy. Personally, a loving husband and father.  He talked more about his family than anyone I know. He loved his wife (always told me stories of how they met) and he couldn't be more proud of his girls. I enjoyed pulling Mark's sense of humor out of him. I have fond memories of work events such as the past Procurement Olympic days (tug of war) and various golf events. I will miss Mark very much.
