Marcella Ruth Corzine

She was born January 1, 1921 on her family farm in Perry County, Ohio. Marcella graduated from McKinley High School in Canton, Ohio in 1939 and was a private secretary at E.W. Bliss in Canton, Ohio; long-time office manager for Allied Van Lines, and retired in 1985. She was a 60-year member of Grace United Methodist Church in North Canton. Marcella, or "Babe" as many friends called her, belonged to the American Legion Auxiliary #548 and VFW Ladies Auxiliary #7490.

Marcella loved reading, playing cards, working crossword puzzles, and spending her winters in Florida with family.

She is preceded in death by six brothers; five sisters; grandson, Michael Lombardi; son, Jay Corzine; granddaughter, Lindsay Root; and husband of 54 years, Lester G. "Bub" Corzine.

Marcella is survived by daughter, Janet Lombardi of Florida; son, Guy Corzine and his wife, Robin of North Carolina, son, Ted Corzine of North Canton; grandsons, Mark Lombardi of Florida, Donald Corzine of Detroit, Christopher Corzine of California; and granddaughters, Kerri Mayle of North Carolina, Carolyn Corzine of North Carolina; great-grandson, Dillan Lombardi; and great-granddaughter, Nora Corzine.

A visitation for Marcella will be held Tuesday, October 1, 2024 from 5:00 PM to 7:00 PM at Karlo-Libby Funeral Home, 5000 Everhard Rd NW, Canton, Ohio 44718. A funeral service will occur Wednesday, October 2, 2024 at 1:00 PM at Karlo-Libby Funeral Home.

Marcella will be laid to rest in North Canton Cemetery, North Canton, Ohio 44720.
