Jordyn Myers

Her heart told her to be valuable rather than noticeable; she just wanted to be kind, and do what she believed was best for herself and those she loved.

She is an old soul.

Her family, her friends, her teammates, her coaches and her teachers were each precious to her and she never took them or what they brought to her life for granted.

She loved softball and books and art and llamas. She loved mint green and The Beatles and the beach and school. She enjoyed old movies and music and loved to share her finds with her friends. She loved her Teddy and comfy jammies and soft fuzzy blankets.

Jordyn was a hard worker – she had a drive that most would not understand. She planned big and she knew she could achieve anything.

She had a smile that was infectious and truly lit up everything, and to hear her laugh was to hear actual joy out loud. While she may have been a Very Small Girl, she had a capacity for compassion and understanding and love that was Gigantic and Mighty.

When she was born on Christmas Eve, the nurses brought her to us in a Christmas stocking. She was truly the Most Amazing Gift.

Our sweet baby girl, the love of our lives, the Strongest Girl and the Biggest Light – we love you with everything we are and will miss you every single day.

Jordyn Danielle Myers is survived by her parents Jared & Lindsey Myers, her brother Logan, and her grandparents Howard & Jan Byrd and Ned & Julie Myers.

Jordyn would like to remind her aunts and uncles, her cousins, her friends and her teammates what the Cheshire Cat advised Alice: which way you ought to go “depends a good deal on where you want to get to.”

Funeral service will be Thursday October 18, 12:30 p.m. at Fieldcrest Estate, 1346 Easthill Street SE, North Canton, OH 44720.
