Dennis Ray Chapman

Denny was born December 10, 1946 in Canton, Ohio to the late Ray and Mary Ann (McCaulley) Chapman. He was a graduate of Canton McKinley High School, Class of 1964. Denny was a veteran of the US Navy. With his wife, Carlana, he owned and operated North Canton Floral Shoppe for 30 years, followed by working at Fisher Foods Floral Department. He enjoyed spending time with family, telling jokes, and cruising with Carlana and their dear friends, Fred and Judy Rossetti.

In addition to his parents, he was preceded in death by his wife of 55 years, Carlana. He is survived by his son and daughter-in-law, Ron and Michelle Chapman; daughter and son-in-law, Delana and James Leahy; son and daughter-in-law, Rob and Melissa Chapman; grandchildren, Brittany, Brandon, Brady, Tyler, Milana, Caleb, Sean, and Lily.

A visitation for Denny will be held Sunday, August 4, 2024 from 2:00 PM to 4:00 PM at Karlo-Libby Funeral Home, 5000 Everhard Rd NW, Canton, Ohio 44718. A funeral service will occur Monday, August 5, 2024 at 10:00 AM at Karlo-Libby Funeral Home. Denny will be laid to rest in Sunset Hills Memory Gardens.
