Thelma Sneider

Terri was the beloved wife of Barney Sneider, loving daughter of the late Richard and Lillian Malkiel and sister of the late Irene Karsh. Loving mother of Richard Sneider & his wife Diane of Boston, MA and Craig Sneider & his wife Judi Damsky Sneider of Standish, Maine. Grandmother “Grammy” of Justin Sneider & his wife Megan McConnell, Alexandra Sneider & her husband Daniel Lewis, Ethan and Brandon Sneider.

Terri was born and raised in Boston, MA. She was surrounded by a large family of cousins and enjoyed summer outings at the beach. Terri graduated from the Jeremiah E. Burke High School for Girls in Dorchester, MA and met Barney after his Army AirCorps tour in the Philippines. They first settled in Dorchester and then moved to Randolph, MA. Terri was ahead of her time as a working mother in the fields of bookkeeping and accounting. She managed many employees at Neptune Garments and Warbutons. Terri was a breast cancer survivor of 80 years.

Terri was a woman of many talents and passions. She was an: avid golfer, duplicate bridge player, seamstress, ballroom dancer, reader of novels, daily aerobic exerciser, master of crossword puzzles and Sudoku. She often used her artistic talents to paint, create decorative clothing, crochet, knit and needlepoint. Terri loved to travel and see the world. Terri enjoyed volunteering for the Hadassah Thrift store in FL.

She will be sorely missed.

Graveside services and Shiva will be held privately.
