Marjorie E. Gurwitz

Daughter of the late Eva (Milender) and Charles Arons. Beloved mother of Karen Amodeo and her husband Chris of Stoughton, MA and the late Lisa Clements formerly of upstate New York. Cherished grandmother of Rebecca Thoms and Jessica Clements of Nashua, NH. Sister of Arlene Kohen of Great Neck, NY and the late Gilbert Arons formerly of Newton, MA.

Marjorie was born in Boston, MA on November 13, 1927. She graduated from the University of MA in 1949 and married the love of her life, William Gurwitz on September 11, 1949. Together, they ran a John Deere dealership, Wrentham Equipment Company (WECO) for 30 years. They loved to travel with their motor home and attend Patriot’s football games. They were snowbirds for a while until they finally settled in Boynton Beach, FL for over 40 years. Marge was active playing bridge and canasta. She loved going out for fine dinners with her family and friends, and was still cooking up until a year ago. She will be missed by all!

Relatives and friends are invited to attend a Funeral Service on Wednesday, October 16, 2024 at 1:00 PM at Stanetsky Memorial Chapel, 475 Washington Street, Canton, MA. Burial will follow at Sharon Memorial Park, 40 Dedham Street, Sharon, MA.
