Jack Terban of Boca Raton, FL, formerly of Randolph, MA, entered into rest on Tuesday, May 7, 2019 at the age of 93. Beloved husband of the late Molly (Tansman) Terban. Devoted father of Ellen Cohen and her husband Allan, Howard Terban and his wife Jackie, and Janet Morris and the late Elliot Morris. Loving brother of Joseph Terban, Harry Terban, Esther Block, Rita Singer, Shirley McLaughlin, and the late Bernard Terban, Frances Green, and Eleanor Strauss. Cherished grandfather of Scott Cohen and his wife Erin, Brian Cohen, Lori Baudino and her husband Jim, William Terban and his wife Jerica, Maxwell Terban, Sarah Morris, Jonathan Morris; and great-grandfather of Aubrey and Lexi Cohen and Aiden and Lyla Baudino.
Jack lived his life with love, laughter, and passion. He gave more than he got, he lent a hand to anyone in need, and he exemplified heart and humility. Jack sang and whistled through life whether working hard or playing joyfully. He was a one-of-a-kind beacon of positivity whose light shown on all around him wherever he went. He will be missed dearly. Jack was a master electrician & a proud veteran of WWII.
Services will be at Stanetsky Memorial Chapels, 475 Washington Street, Canton, MA on Friday, May 10th at 10 a.m.
Interment will be at New Jewish Deed Holders Cemetery, 232 Fuller Street, Everett, MA.
Memorial observance will be held at Marriott Residence Inn, 275 Norwood Park S (off route 1) in Norwood on Friday evening from 5-9pm.
In lieu of flowers, expressions of sympathy may be made in his memory to The American Cancer Society or The Alzheimer’s Association.
