George was the cherished husband of Adele (Price) Seliber Katzoff and the late Flora (Lerner) Katzoff. Loving father of Mark Katzoff of Milton and Amy Katzoff (and her husband Gary Kaufman) of Evanston, Illinois. Devoted step-father of Mark Seliber (and his wife Rachel) of Natick, Roy Seliber (and his wife Maria) of Freeland, Washington and Jay Seliber (and his partner Susan Goldman and her daughter Reese) of Colts Neck, New Jersey. George adored his grandchildren: Jake Kaufman and Zoe Kaufman; Daniel Seliber and Brian Seliber (and his wife Tina); Andrew Seliber and Trevor Seliber; and Jared Seliber and Tyler Seliber. Faithful brother of the late Irving Katzoff.
George grew up in Dorchester and graduated from Boston English High School and Mass. College of Pharmacy. He was a pharmacist, working his last 25 years at the Erich Lindemann Mental Health Center in Boston. George was a lifelong sports enthusiast and fan of all the Boston teams – his last night was Tom Brady’s 7th Super Bowl victory. George celebrated his 80th birthday at White Sox Park and his 90th at Fenway Park. He loved to travel, especially annual cruises to the Caribbean. George and Adele danced every Saturday evening at Century Village in West Palm Beach, each winter until this one.
