Bernard Coven

Son of the late Anna (Schwartz) and Samuel Coven. Loving husband of the late Barbara (Nathan) Coven. Beloved father of Howard Coven and his partner Denise Harte, of Rock, WV; Roberta “Bobbie” Files and her husband Ricky of Lakeville; Lisa Ballum and her husband, David, of Avon; and Scott Coven and his wife, Ellen, of Weymouth. Cherished grandfather of Taylor, Haley, Casey, Michael, Samantha, David, Amanda, Derek, Ellie and Rose. Great-grandfather of 5 great-grandchildren. Brother of Shirley Puchkoff of Staten Island, NY.

Bernard was born in Boston on July 7, 1932. He worked as a salesman for Sears for the majority of his working career. Bernie enjoyed candlepin bowling with his league as well as watching on TV along with all Boston Sports.

The Coven family would like to extend their deepest gratitude to the staff at Southwood at Norwell Nursing for providing compassionate care to Bernie.

Relatives and Friends are invited to attend the Chapel Service on Friday, April 21, 2023 at 10 AM at Stanetsky Memorial Chapel, 474 Washington Street, Canton. Burial will follow at Sharon Memorial Park, 40 Dedham Street, Sharon.
