Brandan Vernon Smith ("DREKKEN"), 30, of Granada Hills, CA passed away suddenly on Tuesday, April 17, 2018. He was born in Beaver, PA to Sherri Carcamo (Smith) and Geoff Gibbs. Brandan worked in the entertainment industry as a musician and actor. His music can be heard on iHeartRadio and YouTube by searching DREKKEN. He was preceded in death by his grandfather, Larry Smith, Sr. (PA) and grandparents Mr. & Mrs. Carl Gibbs (CA). Brandan leaves behind his parents, Douglas and Sherri Carcamo; brothers Archie "Taji" (Kim) Smith, and Dilan and Leland Gibbs; sisters Jessica Carcamo and Hayden Gibbs; grandmother, Hannah Smith; Aunt, Bonnie Smith; Uncles, Larry, Mark, and Denis Smith; and a host of other relatives and friends. Celebration of life will begin at 12-1pm and public viewing will be from 1-4pm on Saturday, April 28, 2018 at Gates, Kingsley & Gates Praiswater Mortuary, 6909 Canoga Avenue, Canoga Park, CA 91303, (818)348-3354.
