Robert Allison Pollock

It is with heavy hearts that the Pollock family announces the passing of Mr. R. Allison Pollock of Tide Head, NB which occurred at Campbellton Regional Hospital on the 09 December 2017 after a brief illness at the age of 93.

He will live in the hearts of his loving wife, Elizabeth (Beth) nee Stewart, and his children Reid (Marie) of Amherstview, ON. Allan (Jacqueline) of Tide Head, NB. Anne (Pierre) of Miramichi, NB and Ellen of Mississauga, ON, 9 Grandchildren and 8 Great-Grandchildren.

Allison was a member of the Royal Rifles of Canada and a Prisoner of War following the surrender of Hong Kong. He was also a member of the Royal Canadian Legion for 69 years.

The celebration of Allison's life will be from Maher’s Funeral Chapel, 64 Lansdowne St., Campbellton on Wednesday, December 13, 2017 at 2:00 pm.

Visitation will be at Maher’s Funeral Home, 33 Lansdowne St., Campbellton, Tuesday from 7:00 to 9:00 and at the Chapel on Wednesday from 1:00 pm until time of funeral.

All members of the Legion Branch # 19 are asked to meet at the Funeral Home on Tuesday evening at 7:30 for a Legion Service.

For those who wish remembrances in memory of Allison may be made to Heart and Stroke Foundation, Cancer Research, Flatlands Rural Cemetery or a charity of your choice.
