She is survived by her loving family, Gail (Charles) Couzens, England; Judy Savoy, Halifax, Nova Scotia; Ann (Jim) MacKelvie, Halifax, Nova Scotia; Tom (Maureen) Mississauga, Ontario; Neil (Heather) Halifax; and grandchildren Stephen, Jeff , Jenna (Daryl), Conor, Ben, Andrew and Erinher Olga is also survived by sister, Theresa Hutchinson. She was predeceased by her husband, William Savoy and daughter, Nancy. Olga was a resident of Bursey Towers (2nd floor) and loved her time there. She had wonderful friends and was lovingly cared for by the great staff. She was an avid bowler for 22 years and in her last year won the trophy for her team! She also held the record for most cryptograms done in a single night! Visits from her children were highlights and she loved to go out to dinner, especially Salmon Lodge. Special thanks to Steven (nephew) and Lise Hutchinson for their enduring care and support.
The funeral mass will be held on Saturday, October 23rd, 11am in St. Thomas Aquinas Church with reception to follow in church hall. Visitation at Maher's Funeral Home, Friday 7-9PM and Saturday from 9:30am until time of funeral.
Donations to The Heart and Stroke Foundation or The Canadian Diabetes Association would be appreciated by the family.
