Lori was born on November 16, 1960 in Campbellton, NB to Irene (Savoie) and to the late Leonard Durette.
Lori worked as a bank teller for 33 years until her retirement in 2018. She loved trailering with Ray and friends, hiking around the Sugarloaf Mountain, snowshoeing, walking on the beach and enjoying the company of friends around a campfire. Having no children of her own, she particularly loved spoiling her many nieces and nephews whenever she could. Special moments came her way with the arrival of step grandsons Cooper and Carter.
Besides her Life Partner Ray and her mother, she is survived by her siblings Michael, Monica (Mike Cotterell), Deborah (Ron Legacy), Susan and Terry (Maureen Boon). She is also survived by 20 nieces and nephews, step daughters Sheena and Brittany (Matt Tancock) and two step grandsons. She was predeceased by her father.
A Funeral Service for Lori will be held at Maher's Funeral Chapel, 64 Lansdowne St., Campbellton on May 8, 2023 at 11:00 am.
The family will welcome family and friends at the Chapel on Monday from 10:00 am until time of Service.
