Bernice Godin

Passed away peacefully at the Centre d'hebergement de Matapedia on November 13th. 2017 at the age of 78, Mrs. Bernice Godin Doucet of Lorne, wife of late Alexandre (Alex) Doucet. Born in Nash Creek on March 10th.1939, daughter of the late Thomas Godin and Agnus Hickey.

Bernice was a homemaker, survived by her sons Daryl Doucet of Montreal; Rickey Doucet (Grace) of Scarborough and daughter Sandra Lapointe (Marvin) of Campbellton; two brothers, Ames Godin (Evette) of Belledune, Donald Godin (Darleane) of Lorne; three sisters, Erma Fournier of Balmoral, Margarette Louis (Lou) Chamberlain of Lorne, May Carrier (Omer) of Dalhousie; her grandchildren, Darren,Rickey,Alex,Bianca,Jessica,Natalie,Rickey,Joey,Melanie,Scott,Jesse and nine great grandchildren and many nieces and nephews. Besides her parents she was predeceased by her six brothers, Sandy, Gordon, Weldon, Denis (twin), Andrew, Allain; two sisters, May, Gladys, her daughter in law, Linette.

Funeral will be held at St. Maria Goretti's Church in Lorne, NB on Friday May 18th at 2:00 pm.

Funeral arrangements are in the care of Maher’s Funeral Home, Campbellton.
