It is with great sadness we announce the passing of our dad, Dennis Smith on November 30, 2024 at the age of 84.
Dennis is survived by his wife, Shirley Smith; daughters, Philippa and Sandra; 4 grandchildren, Brittany, Steven, Shaelynn and Brennen.
He was born, raised and lived his entire life in Alert Bay and worked for the municipality for 35 years. His garden was his pride and joy and more often than not that is where you would find him. He always had a story to tell and will be remembered for his sense of humour.
We will all miss him tremendously, and maybe as he left this last time, he really did go and “see a man about a dog!”
