TERRY’S CHAIR
The empty chair where it seems you were just there – then too you were in my sight as the darkness of night gave way to beautiful morning light and you would say “Good morning Dear Heart” and a brand new day we would start; hoping for a calm and peaceful day, if only in our chairs we could stay. You would ask “do we have any appointments today” and I would reply but tomorrow I cannot say.
But then your heart grew dim as I heard the fluid come rushing in. It came up over your heart they said, as they tried hard not to let it go dead; but wait, I see the bright lights and His open arms giving me a brand new heart and a brand new start. I can walk and I can run, for with Jesus I am not done! Heaven is my new home where someday I’ll be looking to meet you there. We’ll be together again you and I where
nevermore we will ever die. I’ll look at your chair and once again you will be there!
With all my love,
Your Dear Heart, Janice
