Judith Lois Hughes

Born on June 29, 1939 in Pine Grove, PA.

She is preceded in death by her husband R. Burton Hughes and her sister in-law, Virginia Dalton.

Surviving Judith are her brother in-law, John Hughes; niece, Lynn Dalton; niece, Sheila; nephews, Mike Hughes, Kirk (Charlotte) Hughes and John Dalton; and great nephews, Shawn, Gavin and Clay.

Judith was a member of St. John’s Lutheran Church. She was an avid animal lover, especially cats, and her and her husband took care of many beloved pets during their life together.

A visitation will be held on Saturday February 3, 2024 from 10:00 to 11:00 at St. John’s Lutheran Church; 44 West Main Street, Shiremanstown, PA. Funeral services will take place at 11:00. Burial will follow in Rolling Green Memorial Gardens, Camp Hill, PA. A luncheon will follow at the VFW in Rossmoyne, PA.
