home with her loving family by her side. She was born October 7, 1924 in Brooklyn, New York,
the daughter of Thomas & Maude Hawco.
She was preceded in death by her brother John Hawco and her sisters Theresa Murphy, Mary Jo Hawco, Catherine Hawco, Margaret Kovsh, and Lorraine Moran.
She is survived by her sister Anne Tobin.
She was the widow of Colonel Martin A. Kendall with two surviving children Thomas
(Sherry) Kendall, and Mary Jo (William) Young. She is survived by her four grandchildren:
Gregory Verbosky, Nicole Kendall, Kyle Kendall, and Sarah Verbosky, as well as three great
grandchildren: Owen, Addison, and Amelia Verbosky and many nieces and nephews.
She has fond memories of her times spent in Germany, Italy, and France while her
husband, Martin served in the United States Army.
Elaine was a member of Good Shepherd Parish and the Depot Women’s Club, a former
Treasurer and Board member of West Shore Meals on Wheels,.
Mass of Christian Burial will be 11:00 Tuesday, June 26, 2018 at Good Shepherd Catholic Church, 3435 E. Trindle Rd. Camp Hill, with viewing from 10:00 to 11:00 prior to mass. Interment will be at Indiantown Gap National Cemetery, Annville.
