Passed away peacefully with his family at his side, at Cambridge Memorial Hospital on Monday, December 19, 2011, in his 68th year. Beloved husband of Linda Traill. Loving father of Robert and his wife Julie, and Richard, all of Cambridge. Also survived by his sister-in-law Elizabeth Allan. Predeceased by his parents Robert and Elizabeth Allan and his brother Robert. William was born in Glasgow, Scotland on October 4, 1944 and has lived in Cambridge for the past 29 years. Cremation has taken place. A Memorial Service will be held from the chapel of Coutts Funeral Home, 96 St. Andrews, Cambridge (519-621-1650) on Thursday, December 29, 2011 at 1:30 p.m. As expressions of sympathy, donations to Cambridge Memorial Hospital Foundation MRI Fund would be appreciated by the family.
