Theresa Catherine Leahey

Passed away peacefully at Cambridge Memorial Hospital Cambridge on Thursday April 28, 2011 in her 81st year. Beloved mother of David Crawley (Debbie) of Mich., Michael Leahey (Evelyn) of Cambridge, Patrick Leahey (Paola) of Waterloo, John Leahey (Trudy) of Cambridge, Bernard Leahey (Eileen) of Sutton, Colleen Smith (Philip) of Cambridge, Mary Laginskie (Glenn) of Kitchener. Also survived by 13 grandchildren and 3 great grandchildren, 2 brothers Peter O’Grady (Millie) of Cambridge, Martin O’Grady (Catherine) of Toronto, 2 sisters Mary Anderson and Eileen Longo both of Kitchener. Predeceased by her parents John and Mary O’Grady, a daughter Bernadette(1969) and sister Monica Riley. Theresa was born in Galt and lived most of her life in Cambridge area. She was a retired R. N. The family will receive friends at Coutts Funeral Home 96 St. Andrews St. Cambridge on Saturday April 30, 2011 from 7-9 P. M. and on Sunday May 1, 2011 from 2-4 and 7-9 P. M. Funeral Mass will be held on Monday May 2, 2011 at 11 A. M. at St. Gregory’s R. C. Church, 10 St. Gregorys Dr. Cambridge. Parish prayers will be recited at the funeral home Sunday evening at 7:30 P. M. As expressions of sympathy donations to the Heart & Stroke Foundation of Ontario would be appreciated by the family.
