Beloved Husband of Irene for 69 years. Dear Brother of Sherry (Harry). Loving Dad of Ron (Rochelle) and Lee-Anne (Cam). Proud Grandpa of Ryan, Julie, Scott and Megan. Dear Great Grandpa of Trinity, Lily, Sophie, Noah, Alexander, Nathan, Raelynn, Daesyn, Brinley, Colin and Logan.

Ron was part of the Guelph small business community for 20 years as the owner of Richardson’s Variety, a beloved convenience store. After retiring, he and his wife enjoyed their time in Sauble Beach and Owen Sound.

Born with a great sense of humor, Ron brightened the lives of those around him. He had innate ability to make people laugh and brought joy to every interaction. His genuine interest in others allowed him to connect with many, and his warm personality made it easy for people to feel comfortable in his presence.

Aside from his small business accomplishments, Ron was known for his kindness and compassion. He created lasting friendships throughout his life, leaving behind cherished memories that will be treasured by all who had the privilege of knowing him.

Cremation has taken place. As per Ron’s wishes, there will be no visitation or service. A private family interment will take place at Memory Gardens Cemetery, Breslau.
