It is with heavy hearts that we announce the sudden passing of our beloved Ray on July 27, 2019.
He was surrounded by those who loved and respected him during his life and in death. Ray was predeceased by his parents Helen and Edward Evers and his sister Beverley Mullan. Mourned by his much-loved wife of 41 years, Marilyn, and his brother, Wayne (Maryanne). His children Katrina and Kevin, Lori and Robert, Michael and Laurissa, Cindy and Kevin are devastated by the loss of this teddy bear of a man who was always kind, always listening, and very wise. Ray’s absence will by deeply felt by his many grandchildren and his one great-grandchild, Dexter. Friends and relatives are invited to a visitation at Barthel Funeral Home (566 Queenston Rd, Cambridge) on Tuesday, July 30th from 2:00 pm to 4:00 pm and 7:00 pm to 9:00 pm. A Funeral Service will be held on Wednesday, July 31st at 1:00 pm in the funeral home’s chapel. In lieu of flowers, donations to the Cambridge Memorial Hospital Foundation would be appreciated by the family.
