Passed away peacefully, with his beloved wife Judy of 47 years, by his side on Saturday March 6th, 2010 at Stirling Heights Nursing Home in his 69th year.
Dear father of Mark (Lina) and Glen (Tammy).
Dear Opa of Rachel, Brianne, Megan, and Cameron.
Sadly missed by brother Bert (Carol).
Survived by mother-in-law, Ruth Hooker, brothers-in-law Don Hooker (Margaret), Bob Hooker, sister-in-law Ruth Hooper and many nieces and nephews.
Predeceased by brother Jan Buitenhuis, and sisters Flora VanDelagemaat, and Gerritje Lippert.
Peter was a long time employee of Cambridge Community Services.
Peter’s family will receive friends at T. Little Funeral Home (223 Main Street, Cambridge) on Thursday, March 11, 2010 from 2-4 pm and 7-9 pm. At Peter’s request there will be no funeral service. Cremation has taken place.
Memorial donations to the Canadian Diabetes Association, in Peter’s memory would be appreciated by the family.
