Heather, 
Your smile and warm heart are what I remember the most and what I will carry with me. You were fierce, funny, strong, and the brightest light in the darkest days. You had a profound impact on my life and I will never forget you.

Dear Matthew and Brittany,
I’m so very sorry that your mom had to leave this side of eternity so soon.  I pray that you will all meet again in Heaven…..because anyone who calls upon the name of the Lord will be saved.  May you be comforted by that.  Isaiah 26:3 says,  I will keep you in perfect peace whose mind is stayed on thee.  I pray that He who never slumbers nor sleeps keep you in His peace now and forever more.

Mom~
You were always larger than life. Love for your family, generosity to people you hardly knew at times & a passion to speak out against injustice were some of the many things that defined you. One of my favorite things in the world was to make you laugh. & that big smile and loud infectious laugh never failed to disappoint. You always shone so brightly and we never thought that light would go out so quickly or suddenly. It is already missed more than words can say. You were my biggest fan & champion & put me on a higher pedestal than I ever deserved. I only hope I made you proud & you knew how loved you are. Despite your many hardships you are an amazing mom. You raised us well mums. We will be ok. I will keep my promise. Rest now. Until we meet again & I hear that laugh.

Matthew, Brittany & families- our hearts are breaking for your loss. Your momma was one specular woman, grandmother, friend &family.
